Rene Marie Russo (born Rene Marie Russo) is an American film actress, former supermodel and filmmaker. Rene Marie Russo is a famous American actor, director and ex-supermodel. Her fame is based on her elegance beauty. Her long-standing presence in a highly competitive industry showcases her talent and skills as a performer. Her professional career started as a fashion model in the year 1970 then she rose quickly to fame. In the early 1990s she was enrolled in theatre and acting. Then after that, in Los Angeles and California she made her first stage appearances. Russo's screen debut was in ABCs 1988 drama Sable In the show, she played Eden Kendell. Two years later she played Tom Berengers love interest in her debut film Major League. Critics, initially skeptical by her acting abilities however, eventually became convinced when they saw her constant performance. They were most impressed with her when she appeared in Wolfgang Petersen's Outbreak where she held her ground in the face of Dustin Hoffman and Morgan Freeman. But, as she admits she's never really been a passionate about acting. The year 2005 was the time she was to a break, which was self-imposed. Following a lengthy break, she came back to the screen in Thor. Also, she appeared in Nightcrawler which her husband was awarded the Oscar for. Later, she would star in light-hearted comedies like The Intern and Just Getting Started.
Rose Namajunas was one of the top female athletes in the UFC. She started out as an amateur fighter who competed in regional promotions before joining Invicta Fighting Championships. Then she joined in the Ultimate Fighting Championships. The fighter has gained plenty of attention after joining the UFC thanks to her on and off the octagon's successes. Namajunas was born June 29th on the 29th of June, 1992 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to a Lithuanian immigrants family. Rose participated in kickboxing and basketball while growing up. She made her debut in professional competition aged 18 in the Invicta Fighting Championships at which she was able to win two bouts by submission. Dana White was impressed and brought Rose into the strawweight division of the UFC at the age of 22 in December of 2014. Rose's career has seen highs as well as lows but she's always capable of coming out of it with a win. Rose took on Carla Esparza in April 2015 to win the Women's Strawweight Champion. The fight was won through a technical knockout, which occurred within three minutes of the first round. This was the first women to compete in a title fight with any major promotion worldwide. After this win, Namajunas went onto have several victories, including defeating Joanna Jedrzejczyk twice which earned her Performance Of The Night honors from UFC after these wins .
